Of Blueberries and Blue Jeans


Love handles can be hellishly hard to get rid of, no matter how disciplined the diet or dedicated the exercise regimen. Now, researcher at the University of Michigan may have found a silver bullet to banish belly fat. Blueberries are known to lower risk of heart disease and diabetes, but it appears that the tasty fruit contains substances that can also reduce abdominal fat deposits by altering the way that the body processes and stores glucose.

Anecdotal evidence confirms these promising finding and I have heard from a few individuals who are fitting more comfortably into their jeans after making blueberries a part of their daily diet for a couple of months.
